My earliest years as a working artist were spent exclusively in the medium of cut paper collage. Japanese papers were meticulously painted by hand and then cut into the various shapes of the work and adhered using a dry glue method. The result was a very crisp and dimensional effect that was enhanced with oil pastels pencils and inks. These pieces have a whimsical quality and bring color and joy to a space.
